I have only encountered two brownie recipes that muster the word
superb. One is from scratch (see recipe), the other
this one is from a box - Ghirardelli which is based in San Francisco. I just served
some to a friend of mine and he wanted more. The product can only be bought at Costco. The box mix calls for 1/3 cup water, 1/3 cup oil and 1 large egg. For instructions see www.ghirardellibrownies.com
To really make it yummier, add a ¼ teaspoon vanilla and substitute
a duck egg for a chicken egg. When I did
this, the brownie was gone in no time.
